  1. Applicant must be planning to attend an institution of higher education or vo-tech in the state of Oklahoma.
  2. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  3. The application can be submitted electronically, above, or printed out. If printing out the application for submission, it needs to be typed or printed.
  4. All parts of application must be completed. Before a electronically submitted application can be approved, signatures of the applicant and an school official will need to be on file.
  5. Submit application to Altus High School counselor's office.
  6. Applicant must enroll in a minimum of 9 credit hours.
  7. One letter of recommendation from an instructor of your choice, who can attest for your character and abilities, must be included and signed with the name, address and telephone numbers where the instructor can be reached. THE RECOMMENDATION MUST BE IN A SEALED ENVELOPE WITH THE INSTRUCTORS NAME WRITTEN ACROSS THE SEAL.
  8. If you receive a scholarship from the Altus Hispanic Association, notify Raul Guerra, President of AHA, at 471-6509, or Secretary Mary O. Esparza at 471-8879 after the enrollment process is completed and a check will be sent to the institution.
